05/28/09: EC takes delivery of purpose built trailers

Energy Contractors took delivery this week of 3 new purpose built oilfield lowboy trailers from Ray Fab Inc in Princeton, Ontario Canada. These trailers were designed by the Appalachian based team at EC from years of real life experiences dealing with logistic issues here. This is the first delivery of a multiple unit order that continues to prove our focus on providing the most complete group of Appalachian purpose built assets to provide our customers and the market with efficiency and safety second to none.

05/27/09: EC receives bed truck

Energy Contractors took delivery this week of our third Appalachian purpose built Kenworth C500 bed truck. This truck was rigged up by Camex in Nisku, Alberta Canada for EC and will compliment the balance of EC's fleet. We continue to be committed in building strength in the rig moving/logistics service line in an effort to offer the market and our customers efficiency and safety second to none.

05/25/09: EC Yard #01 adds assets

Energy Contractors LLC yard #01 in Weston, WV has taken delivery of two new Kenworth T800 purpose built winch tractors to support the ever growing rig moving/logistics service line. These trucks were built by Camex in Nisku, Alberta Canada with EC's exclusive input for the demanding Appalachian market.

05/10/09: EC bed truck delivery

Energy Contractors has taken delivery of 2 new Kenworth C500 tandem/tandem bed trucks to support our ever growing rig moving/logistics service line. The third unit is expected within the next few weeks. These trucks are another way of proving our commitment to the Appalachian market and our many loyal customers.

05/04/09: EC Yard #01 adds assets

Energy Contractors has added two new types of assets to the fleet operating out of our Yard #01 in Weston, WV. These trucks are equipped with both a high volume vacuum pump as well as a bulk transfer high volume blower system. These trucks were purpose built at the request of existing customers to provide bulk sand transfer from sources to well sites throughout Appalachia. The completion techniques being used on the Marcellus shale requires large volumes of proppants as well as water. With the dual system on these trucks we can haul dry bulk materials or fluids. Energy Contractors is continually striving to service our customers and the market with the latest in technology and services.

05/01/09: EC commits to rig moving assets

Energy Contractors has made a commitment to a leading oilfield trailer mfg to design and build Appalachian specific lowboys for our operations. We will start taking delivery of this 6 unit order in next few weeks. The order consists of 2 each 5 axle fixed neck lowboys, 2 each 4 axle fixed neck lowboys and also 2 each 4 axle scissor neck lowboys. These trailers are another version of Energy Contractors commitment in providing purpose built assets to offer safe and efficient services to the market.

05/01/09: EC ramps up rig moving logistics

Energy Contractors is proud to announce we have added to our ever growing line of services. The company recently hired a seasoned manager to handle our Rig Moving Logistics service line. We will take delivery of 3 new purpose built Kenworth C500 tandem bed trucks within the next few days. These trucks were designed and built by Camex in Nisku, Alberta Canada with extensive input from EC personel.

The first two units are 360" wheelbase double set back steering with 29' of usable bed. Both trucks are equipped with the latest in technology features such as Tulsa RN130 hydraulic main winches, hydraulic raised triple wall gin poles, hydraulic actuated bed rollers as well as hydraulic kickers on rear of trucks to position loads with inches of customers requests. We also have a fleet of additional winch trucks and purpose built lowboys under construction to work with these bed trucks to make sure we provide the market with what will be the safest and most efficient rig moving group of assets in Appalachia today. Energy Contractors continually strives to be a leader with quality people, assets and service second to none.

3/6/09: EC exhibits services at Waynesburg Expo

Energy Contractors, LLC, took part in the Tri-County Oil and Gas Expo in Waynesburg on Saturday, March 21. The expo featured companies that operate in or service the counties of Greene, Fayette and Washington in Pennsylvania. As a Waynesburg company, Energy Contractors exhibited its Excavation, Mobilization, Fluid and Well Services at the Expo, which was held at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Energy Contractors, LLC, would like to thank anyone who attended the event.

2/17/09: New Service Rig

Energy Contractors Yard #04 Jane Lew, WV, recently took delivery of 01-108, their fourth of six purpose-built truck-mounted double pole service rig. These units have been engineered and designed with years of experience and a foresight into what Appalachia brings in the future. These rigs are powered by the latest version Caterpillar engine packages as well as new generation square telescoping double poles rated at 175,000 lb. capacity.

1/28/09: Swab Rig Unit

Energy Contractors recently took delivery of 03-312, a newly refurbished 4wd Cooper swab rig unit 5000ft 3/8 wire line, Iveco 4 cylinder diesel, complete sand pump, and 4 1/2 bailer. Energy Contractors continues to strives to become a market leader in Appalachia for well servicing as well as all other services the company currently offers.

12/23/08: Well Service Additions

On 12/23/08 Energy Contractors LLC Yard #04 in Jane Lew, Wv took delivery of two more new build double derrick well service units, rigs #02-202 and #02-203. These rigs are part of our commitment to increase our services in the Appalachian Basin with purpose built assets that are based locally. These rigs are available with a multitude of auxiliary assets such as triplex pumps, steel pits, power swivels, BOP's as well as a host of down hole tools. We will continue to provide a wide range of services to Appalachia and abroad going forward into 2009 and beyond.

11/28/08: EC opens Williamsport, PA yard

Energy Contractors is pleased to announce that its newest yard, located in Williamsport, PA is now fully operational. After receipt of all new dedicated purpose built assets, the Williamsport yard boasts a large inventory of 500-barrel frac tanks, vacuum trucks, winch tractors and trailers to meet our customer needs.

In an industry that demands high quality service, the new Williamsport yard is capable of meeting and exceeding industry standards. The company is excited to support the expanding growth of the Marcellus Shale in this area as well as other conventional opportunities. We look forward to future growth from this yard by adding our full line of services including excavation and well services.

11/26/08: Yard Relocation

Due to the overwhelming growth of our Waynesburg, PA yard, we were forced to relocate to a new location with more space to allow for further expansion. The new yard, located at 2504 Smithcreek Road/RTE 218 South, will provide additional yard and shop area to facilitate the storage and maintenance of new equipment and personnel. The company looks forward to future growth from this yard by adding our full line of services including well services.

11/23/08: Double Pole Rig Fleet

11/23/08: Derrick Rig Fleet

Energy Contractors Yard #04 located in Jane Lew, WV Recently took delivery of Rig #02-201. This is the first of three new purpose built double derrick well servicing units. These rigs will be available with a variety of other assets including but not limited to 340HP triplex pumps, 200bbl mixing tanks, Caterpillar powered hydraulic power swivels, 7-1/16" x 5,000lb double ram BOPS with gasoline powered accumulators. The company looks forward to providing purpose built assets into this basin to support our customers' needs.

11/21/08: Power Swivels

Energy Contractors has taken delivery of 6 new Caterpillar powered, skid mounted, hydraulic power, swivel units that will further enhance our new build well service rig program. The company has made a commitment to providing the Appalachian well servicing industry with what others have not in the past.

11/21/08: Clendenin Yard adds assets

Energy Contractors has taken delivery of a new Kenworth T800 winch tractor and tandem oilfield float trailer at our Yard #02 in Clendenin, WV. This unit is purpose built like the existing fleet to best service our customers needs. The company will continue with a new build program going forward that will either add to our existing fleet or upgrade aging assets.

10/18/08: Oil and Gas Expo

Energy Contractors LLC was a proud attendee to the first annual Tri-County Oil & Gas Expo held at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg, Pa. With the recent success of production in the Marcellus, CBM, and other formations throughout southwestern Pennsylvania, this event was a major success for all participating parties. The company displayed a fleet of its newest assets including an NOV 4C double derrick rig, a Dickirson SR80 double pole rig, JWS340 triplex pump package, Bowen S2.5 power swivel package as well as a few new winch trucks. Energy Contractors is committed to being an industry leader in Appalachia.

09/25/08: Addition to Well Services Inventory

Energy Contractors recently took delivery of our first new well service triplex pump package. This is part of a multiple pump order that will support our new build derrick and double pole rig program. These pumps are purpose built for the Appalachian Basin and will compliment Energy Contractors service and product offering to our customers. The pumps are JWS340 triplexes coupled to Detroit engines and Allison transmissions. The skids are purpose built for the demanding Appalachian conditions and all piping is designed to work in conjunction with new build company owned pits and power swivels.

09/08/08: Energy Contractors Adds to Mobilization Services

Energy Contractors recently took delivery of a 2009 Peterbilt Model 389 600HP 4 axle winch tractor purpose built to provide mobilization to our expanding excavation service line as well as the increased rig moving activity around the Marcellus Shale projects. This truck will be complemented by a new Fontaine 55ton detachable neck lowboy as well as our existing fleet of trailers from tandems to 5 axles.

09/01/08: Tandem Steer Bed Truck Delivery

Energy Contractors recently took delivery of a 2008 Kenworth T800 tandem steer bed truck. This unit is equipped with a 100,000lb hydraulic winch and has been engineered and purpose built for the demanding geography and terrain of Appalachia. This unit will primarily work out of our southwestern Pennsylvania yard where the increased Marcellus activity is demanding larger drilling assets. Energy Contractors continues to strive to be the market leader in Appalachia for oilfield mobilization services as well as all other service lines the company currently offers.

08/28/08: Rig Delivery

Energy Contractors recently took delivery of the first of 6 new purpose built truck mounted double pole well service rigs. These units have been engineered and designed with years of experience and foresight into what Appalachia brings in the future. The carriers are tridem drive with super single tires rather than conventional dual wheels in an effort to be more environmentally friendly when mobilizing to and from locations. The super singles are less likely to pack up with mud that could eventually become a DOT or safety issue. Rigs are powered by the latest version Caterpillar engine packages as well as new generation square telescoping double poles rated at 175,000lb capacity. This fleet of rigs will come with a standard work floor capable of a 6’ height to clear the expanding Marcellus activity and the larger wellhead assemblies being used for completion purposes. Energy Contractors continues to strive to be a market leader in Appalachia for well servicing as well as all other services the company currently offers.

06/27/08: Acquisition - Hayden

Energy Contractors, LLC acquired substantially all of the assets from Hayden Excavating. These assets will operate out of our Waynesburg, PA facility and fit nicely to existing operations in southwestern Pennsylvania. We are very excited about the growth potential for this market as the entire industry has focused on the Marcellus Fairway in our backyard. Existing management will remain within the new company.

05/16/08: Acquisition - DeBrular Well Service

Energy Contractors, LLC acquired substantially all of the assets from DeBrular Well Service. These assets will operate out of our Jane Lew, WV facility and continue on long term contracts with existing customers. Existing management will remain with the new company.

04/18/08: Acquisition - Mid-Atlantic Well Service

Energy Contractors, LLC acquired substantially all of the West Virginia based assets of Mid-Atlantic Well Service today. Mid-Atlantic Well Service was a service division of Linn Energy. Energy Contractors, LLC will reside at the Jane Lew, WV facility and be aggressive in the growth of excavation, pipeline and well services from this acquisition.

02/29/08: Name/Structure Change

Energy Contractors of WV, LLC and Energy Contractors of PA, LLC merged today to form Energy Contractors, LLC - a Delaware Company. Corporate headquarters will be in Bridgeport, WV with operations throughout Appalachia as well as other active energy markets in the country.
